Once upon a time ~ There was a beautiful Sunday that I had to attend a seminar (only for women) organised by my friend’s mom which he doens’t have any idea about it tho! LoL ~ I was invited by my good friend, Lin Wei (1. to accompany her 2. it’s totally free :D 3. no1 else like me would spare my Sunday morning for her lol). As we reached the hotel, there’s a board stating the venue and time for the training and it’s stated 9am - 5pm (SHIT! We reached like 945am!). With aroused feelings, we quickly rushed to the lift and ran to the ballroom (omg we’re so late!). We were surprised to see that our arrival was top 10 in the list! (they actually printed wrongly on the board lol) And and there were like less than 20 people altogether including the speakers. And we’re the youngest there. Scary eh..

Umm, it’s all about leadership and communication skills. How do you interact with your fellow audience? How do you talk to keep them interested to what you’re talking besides making sure they don’t get sleepy? How do you elaborate your points so that your audience understands what you are mumbling in front? How is the room temperature? Is it too cold or too hot? What are the tools that the audience needs? Water or pen or paper? What kind of speech tone and pace do you use to talk to your audience according to situations? High or low or monotonous or fast or slow? Do you just stand in front or walk around? Do you use body language or just stand still with folded arms? These are the useful elements that I’ve gained from the seminar. Oh yah, one more important thing which is I’m an english educated person but I’d attended a Mandarin Talk :P Ain’t I good? LoL ~ I’d absorbed 70% of what’s taught. Not bad aye? I’m able to translate them into my own language and I just asked Lin Wei if I don’t get what the speaker’s talking. Actually, I’ve read about this topic (leadership) tho from newspaper and books, so I already have some ideas in my mind. Easy :P

The 1st part of the seminar was introducing each other (as usual), but this time it’s a lil bit different. Each of us had to fold up a paper to 3 sections to make a triangle and write our names on top as creative as possible. The next step was to get as many contacts as you can within 5 minutes. We need to get the names/contact numbers/birthdates/occupations from everybody there. Next, we were asked to talk about a person in the contact list that we’ve gotten earlier and had to pass on a little teddy to the person that talked about yourself. I’d talked about Lin Wei so it’s kinda easy for me LoLz :P And umm.. what else eh? I’m sorta lazy to write everything out, it’s such a waste of time :D Let me just do a summary, it will be alot easier for me and for you too. ^^ The main thing was “Why can’t women be leaders? and How to speak properly?”. You will talk like a leader.. act like a leader.. be a leader one day.. cos the status of men n women are now fairly equal.. No women would stay at home to do the dishes, laundries, babysitting, washings blah blah blah.. Why not men do it? :P (ohhh I see O_o on your faces already :P) Kekeke ~

Alright let’s skip to the end of the seminar. They supposed to hand us a certificate for attending that seminar (which is one of the reasons why Lin Wei called me to follow her) but they had some technical problems that they couldn’t produce the certificates. That leads to another meeting on 24th of September plus each of us has to talk about something in at least 3 minutes. Eeek =/ I’ll try to blah out as many as possible to fill up that 3 minutes and I shall say ‘whew’ when it ends Muahhahaa :D

The next destination shall be NetZero! Lin Wei was eager to meet up with her beloved boi boi so we went there for a while before we headed to Domino’s Pizza. Oh yah.. on the way to Domino’s, we saw a rainbow shining it’s beautiful aura to those who enjoyed watching the rainbow. ^^ It was really really nice ~ I was stunned each time I’m looking at the rainbow as it will make me feel very very very happy for no apparent reasons. Hehehe I’m a rainbow lover :P Someone just saw the rainbow at the same time I’m looking at it. Oh? Another same interest again - rainbow - LoL

We went Netzero again later ~ Played MapleStory with Lin Wei and she’s lucky to have me cos I leveled her up! Gave her some items too ~ her character was so called pathetic =/ Sadly to say that she only created one character and had to carry all the ores =/ But it’s only a game, playing it for fun ~ Hmm…

Oh yah, have ever had someone who asked you what song you would like to listen to and when you are gonna tell out the title someone is typing on the screen? What the… That’s really got 2 of us startled! Speechless but smiling away with happiness LoL :P (so old-fashioned) Hahaha ~ ^.^ Happy ^.^
