Job’s Done

Hmm Hmm ~ It’s Wednesday! The day we must hand in our assignments! My group’s presentation will be next Monday and as usual, I’m a little nervous about it cos it’s Dr. Teh’s class but luckily it’s only within tutorial group 1. *shy* Gotta wear a little formal on that day, looking weird as if I’m gonna go for work.

Friday is up soon! I’m going back on Friday night! Can’t wait for the moment cos I didn’t go back for 4 weeks already. Long time eh. Hehe

Well, time for school. Chiaoz ;)

STRESS!

ALAMAK! is a Malay word which means something like “OH MY GOODNESS!” in Malaysian English and it’s being used very often in almost every single Malaysian except for the little ones (of cos) =P Now, I’m using the word “ALAMAK!” as I am doing the last minute work for my assignments and preparation for presentation. Delaying a work means adding more work to yourself and giving priorities to certain work may also result something bad, like never had enough time to complete tasks.

I’m so stressed out in typing the reports and doing the assignments, especially when I didn’t have enough information to support my statements. That’s really bad. Well, you can’t actually blame a person for not arranging the time to finish up the assignments tho, because there were 3 assignments which need to hand in at the same week. Things started to get tensed and the fear of not finishing the assignments in time. Sigh. Sleepless nights triggered the migraine to ambush at the back of my head as if I had my head banging on the wall. Anxiety is not any good for health and restless nights are not good at all. I need at least 8 to 9 hours of sleep, else I will have my head banging and my eyes be tearing cos of migraine. Bad bad and bad, the only I need is Ponstan, the pain killer dressed in yellow.

That’s about it. S to the T to the R to the E S S ! Hit it Fergie :P

Yay! Weekends!

Well, just finished playing td games in Warcraft’s Bnet. Nothing to “Yay!” about for this weekend tho. I have to do as much for all 3 assignments today. I’m left with 50% for each assignments, *whew* else it’s gonna be crazy. Hehe ~

It’s already almost the end of the month. Time passes really really fast. After finishing all these 3 assignments, we’re gonna be free from assignments *yay* but, final exams are coming soon (23rd Apr – 6th of May) *>..<* Gonna be doing revisions, study groups, discussions bla bla bla like a damn mad person. ~ lol ~ I just hope I don’t flung in my papers, else I won’t able to get home as early after the exams (why?) cos supplementary papers are ready for those who failed. *sheeesh*

Anyway, I better get my stuffs done before following Kor to shoot some photos of UEFA Champions League’s trophy! Hehehe Chiaoz ;)

Interesting Trivia Challenge

The trivia challenge! An event that Ms. Yoges (our phonetics lecturer) asked all of us to join for the sake of taking part in one of the English Language Society’s activity. Almost everyone in EL group for y1s1 joined the trivia challenge. Actually, it was a rather an enjoying moment of getting the answers correct to the funny looking questions. Some of the answers were almost ridiculous if it’s the 1st time for you to look at them, some were as easy and some were weird questions. All you need to do is think as smart as possible to get the right answer by linking the answers and questions together. Most of the questions were based on general knowledge, if one has got fantastic scope of it, then might answer those questions without any doubt.

Well, Michelle’s group (Shan, Tony and Yee Von) was the Champion of this Trivia Challenge. Of course, their wishes come true, by winning the prize consists of a hamper and a few dictionaries :P “I knew you guys were dying for those dictionaries.” Hehehe. 2nd prize won by Ju’s group (Ivan, Jeannie and Irene Hiew). I’m sorry, Viv didn’t get a nice picture of you guys =.=” Su Teng’s group (Sarah, Debbie and May Shing) won the consolation prize. You guys rock man!

Of course, there were some other teams that didn’t win anything but I’m sure you guys enjoyed the fun, right? I enjoyed it as well as learning some weird-new facts tho. Anyway, here’s the picture that I’ve already editted =)

we’ll be missin ya~

Today is the day. The day that the number of our class’s namelist decrease by 1. 1 is no other than the Sabahan girl, Amy Chin (my twin, hehe). She’s gonna leave us today and will be studying at another place where she haven’t decide yet. *shrugs* Well, that’s her choice anyway. Since she’s leaving today, we gave her a surprise farewell “party” for her after grammar’s lecture class. Ms. Kemmy was feeling abit weird as she saw the girls were in white and guys were in black. It was Mich’s idea tho =) We did lotsa things and hid from Amy cos it’s a surprise anyway. She didn’t realise that everybody is wearing the theme colour and she’s the only one wearing pink.

As soon as we finished grammar’s lecture, Mich quickly grab the cake and the present out to try to sneak them into the classroom and she succeeded. Chee Chee went downstairs with Amy Chin and they bumped into Mich, Yee Von, Shan and Anthony. Luckily they were fast enough to block her from seeing the cake and the big present. *phew* Mich, Chee Chee and I pretended to get our bags from the class and head to “mamak” stalls for lunch but when we reached the classroom, *TADA* surprise!! A farewell party just for you ^.^ Our girl broke down and cried as she didn’t expect these from us. That’s what friends are for =)

Candle being blown, cake being cut, present being openned, pictures being taken (cam whoring!!!!) and cakes being eaten! *yum yum, chocolate cake* hehe. Well, I hope she’ll stay on in KL and study at some other colleges nearby. Then we can still meet up again soon ^..^

Live your life to the max, girl. Take care ya =) Miss ya!

Whoopsie!

Oh no ~ I didn’t realise that I haven’t blog for a week! OMG! That’s so wrong, aite? Well, I was being busy for the past few days doing assignments and stuffs. I only had time to sleep which is more crucial than blogging! Hahaha :D I need my beauty sleep, else I ain’t gonna be pretty no more! ~ lol ~ a.k.a. L A Z Y =D

Had an outing with coursemates (Michelle, Aaron, Chee Chee and Amy Chin) last Saturday at National Library (again), some place we had Domino’s Pizza (I forgot the name of the place, tho) and 1Utama to catch a movie. It’s almost a crazy trip to KL on that morning. We took almost 2 hours to reach Titiwangsa from PJ, told Mich that we would’ve reached Ipoh already. It was a gloomy morning and there was KL Marathon on that day, some roads were closed and that’s why we took such a long time to reach. Everybody was like yawning in the car (and I’m yawning right now :O). Took breakie at the library’s cafeteria before heading into the library. As usual, I had my IC checked as well as the rest of the girls but Aaron and Sharwin. I had no idea why were they checking ICs >..<”

Well, we decided to have Domino’s Pizza for lunch which was at 430pm at some place in KL (I totally forgotten the name of that place =.=”). Chee Chee and I walked into Carrefour, trying to grab anything we can and there’s when I saw “SUSHI”! I can’t resist myself to get a bite of any sushi (tho it’s cheap). Haha, I’m a sushi freak. As soon as we finished our pizzas, Mich wanted to look for her cousin sister and we followed as she’s the one driving :P We then later decided to catch a movie in 1Utama – “It’s a Wonderful Life” or better known as “Sam Siong Si Seng” in Cantonese. It’s a CNY movie tho, but we wouldn’t mind watching it cos it’s worth watching =) Someone cried cos there’s a touching part almost at the end of the show. Funny thing was, I’m also an emo girl but I don’t feel touched, I’m happy instead. *shrugs*

Hmm, 18th of March! It’s Buckie’s Birthday! Cute little Buckie ~ Happy 3rd Birthday ~ Let’s get happy now. Time to go home on this coming weekend! *Muahhhaaahhaa!* Oh yeah, played foosball with Kor, Damien Kor and Dree yesterday. It was fun and Kor said I’m getting good in it :P *cool eh* Practice makes perfect. =D

Umm.. Let’s get into bed and get beauty sleep ^.^ Chiaoz ;)

SPM Results Are Out Today!

Wooooooo! Today reminds me of something which is none other than taking SPM results from the school. Well, let’s refresh a little, I was working as a kindy teacher back at that time. Was having hard time with those kids when they weren’t co-operative enough and being naughty too. Oh well, I had a msg (sms) from one of my friends, telling me that SPM results were out and I didn’t know it =,=” I was a little panicked and anxious to know what was the results that I will be getting, and that’s when I took a few hours off from the kind-hearted principal who granted my wish. I don’t really quite remember who took me to get the results, maybe it’s my dad (if I’m not mistaken) lol ~ I’m a forgetful person! Let’s jump to the next scene where I’m already at school. I was there at about lunch time and the office was closed! *sialz* Wasted my few hours off. I had to tell my boss the whole story and asked for another day off the next day. I was surprised to see what’s written on the piece of paper, telling me the results that I didn’t expect and I was happy =) *shhh, it’s a secret* :D

Anyway, I’m not the subject for today’s blog. Indeed SPM results are out today, and my little sister is facing the most frightening day for her. Though I’m not at home to give her some advices or to share her thoughts, but I’m pretty sure she’s very afraid of looking at her SPM results (everyone has that feeling, doh) and be wondering how it would be. I knew what’s her results and it was ok, rather than having “red ink” all over on that paper, lol. Well, everyone including her had tried their best to do the best in exams and results are making some of them go crazy because of good and bad results. I’m pretty sure that my sister isn’t having a wide smile on her face as she didn’t expect it. I still didn’t get any news from her as I was informed by my second sister about her results, I’m giving her time to relax and didn’t wanna pressure her anymore =)

Oh well ~ That’s about it and I’m off for now. Gotta revise the notes on grammar! Chiaoz ;)

Trip to National Library and Avenue-K

Hmm… Let’s talk about the trip to National Library on Wednesday, 7th March. 6 of us (me, Mei Sim, Ching Han, Ivan, Irene and Kah Joon) decided to visit the library to source for our assignment, mainly on Intro to Linguistic. There’s an obvious reason why we went there to source for books or journals which is we need at least 10 references for the whole assignment. Ain’t that alot? Well, we reached there around 330 pm and we had to rush in searching for books cos we didn’t have much time to spend. The worst thing was the books we looked for can’t be borrowed, there’s a sign stating that but I’d forgotten what’s the line. We were like pissed off and quickly find the things that we wanted, but luckily there’s photocopy service, at least it’s not that bad.

Left the library for dinner at KimGary, Avenue-K and it was my first time there. I didn’t know Avenue-K is just opposite of Suria KLCC cos I’ve been in Kinokuniya (books are lovely there! but damn expensive =,=”) We went for a walk in Kinokuniya after our RM100.74 bill in KimGary. As usual, “yin-yong lai cha and sai toh si” (mixed milk tea and french toast) for me, the food I usually order there. Hehehe ~ (uhh, my tummy is growling now ~ *growl*growl* =D) After that, we saw a barber shop called “Quick Cut” and Ching Han wanted to get a little cut on his hair. We waited for him outside and we peeped him as the barber was cutting. He had a frown on his face and he’s not satisfied with the barber’s style. As if she’s in a rush and cut quickly as if there’s 10 people waiting for her, but he’s the only one customer at that time. Poor him -.-

We decided to go back as it’s getting late. The queue was long as me and Irene have to buy the lrt ticket to board the lrt to get home. But we managed to buy them and left at around 730pm. Me and Ching Han were in the lrt and gotta wait until the 12th stop to Asia Jaya LRT Station. That was long. He’s kind enough to accompany me back home cos it’s night time and I’m a little scared of snatch thieves. Gotta treat him something next time, lolz.

Well, the worst thing is that I do not have any camera. Else, I would have posted some pictures! Time to get a camera!!! Haha ;D Time for dinner and some foosball later ~ yay! Chiaoz ;)

Who’s That Crying Baby?

Here I am again to blog. This time I’m gonna blog about a baby girl who’s having some kind of strange feeling.

Well, apparently she has been away from home for about 2 months now for studies. But she still misses her home (having homesick) even though she gets to go back to her hometown every 2 weeks (quite frequent, ain’t it?). I can see that she’s very weak from the inside about being apart from home which is only for 3 years (it ain’t being forever, rite?). She’s being so excited and quickly finishes all her work as she heard that good news from her Kor about going back to BM. Anything about “home” will either make her energized or bring her down. It’s so obvious that she’s just a simple homely girl. I would say that she’s a mommy’s girl =) Well, each time when she’s back in BM, she puts everything away and spends all her precious time with all her family members, especially her little cute nephew and niece. Besides, she doesn’t go out to look for her friends back in BM, but she was so sorry for that cos she only wanted to spend time with her family as she’s being homesick so badly. Life here in PJ for her is totally not like what she expected to have, especially the homesick feeling that she never ever had before, strikes her every now and then. I wonder if this will last for all the years for her being here in PJ. It’s an all of a sudden thing and she’s so not used to live all alone by herself up to this age. For whatever she does or see in her rented room here, her mind would think of home. It’s like, home is everything to her. When she’s having her breakfast, which is coffee and biscuits, she will think of her mom’s homemade coffee, having them in living hall (how nice). And also thought of her own room when she’s lying down on the bed here in PJ. Luckily, she brought her own pillows and sheets for goodness sake. Else, she’ll never feel ok to stay on. It’s kinda hard to change a person’s habit or feelings when someone is being apart from home. Well, I think it’s normal for a person being at home all these years and never left home since young =) At first, she was being quite scared to be alone here cos she’s been walking to class alone and everybody is strangers to her. As time passes, she found a friend which in the same course as her to walk with to class almost everyday, which is a good thing I suppose. She also found a friend who understands her feeling for being away from home. I’m glad for her =) Many of her friends suggested that it’s better for her to move out and stay with a bunch of friends together under one roof. But after discussing with her mom and sis, she decided not to move out with various weaknesses of staying with friends in a house. There are also better point of views but the cons are more than the pros, as analyzed. So, let it be the way it suppose to be now. A mommy’s girl will always listen to her mommy =)

sad-pooh.jpg

The most important role in this story is Kor. He helped this baby girl so much as she has got no idea to repay him. He’s being there for her most of the time when she’s down. He’s the only person she trusted the most here in this busy city. Sometimes, she depends on him for advises and guidelines that are needed to put her in a right track. Well, if Kor isn’t staying in KL, she wouldn’t in be this city and staying all alone, suffering? (ridiculous!) He takes her out always cos he doesn’t want her to feel lonely and being all by herself in her room. He has done a lot for her during the times she’s here in PJ. He treats her like his own sister and also taking care of her, to make sure she’s in good condition. And vice versa, the girl also treats Kor like her own brother as he will eventually be her brother in law, she trusts no one but him. Credits be given to Kor for helping her so much.

Anyway, this story doesn’t have a conclusion as the story is yet to end. Now, it’s time for some advises that you guys could give to this poor little girl. I would be glad if you’re kind to drop some comments =) domo arigato gozaimasu ;)
