Exam had just ended today, despite there is still another paper on 7th May, which is the coming Monday (who care about that anyway?) *lolz* Phonetics’s paper was not a very tough exam to do. I’m very confident of getting a good grade for it. I’m not being cocky but I’d struggled for it and I should have a better result, right? *hehe* Everybody is as happy as they could be since all four core subjects finished and we’re already thinking about having fun! We’re going to watch Spiderman 3! WooHoo! He’s my fave!

 

 

 

 

Well, I’m so excited and getting higher and higher. Adrenaline is flowing in such a fast pace in me. I’m going mad. I’m going crazy. I’m insane! It’s time to play some games. DotA! Hahaha ~ Chiaoz

Needless to say that it’s the 1st time for us, noobs to be sitting an exam in uni. As usual, we need to be seated accordingly to the table numbers as there were 4 different exams in that hall. Well, I sat in front -,-” (it’s a good place where I don’t get any disturbance at all, hehe) There was the answer booklets that we are required to fill them up. Funny thing was, we needed to write the index number, year of study, bla bla bla in words!! What’s the intention? So that the markers could key in the marks to the specific person’s index number? *lolz* I’m not criticizing it tho, it’s just so strange, I mean who’s got a shitty handwriting at university’s level? *laughs*

Well, had grammar’s paper yesterday. I hope it’s being owned. *lolz* I did some questions on past years’ papers and some of the questions were repeated! (luckily, I did some homework =P) Essay part was the hardest part tho, especially about the comment thingy. I have no idea what I’d wrote. Forget about that already. I got mass comm’s paper tomorrow and I’m half prepared. No tips but some topics that we need to read. (thanks alot to our lecturer =_=)

*sigh* I’m so damn stressed! Feeling so down, tensed, and blank. I have no idea what have I read for exams. I knew I covered lotsa notes already but I wonder if they are still in my braincells. What am I gonna do now? Exams in 2 days. Sigh. Somebody save me for goodness sake! Ima sleep now. See what happens after a nap.

Right, boredom killed me. Exam is just around the corner. What am I doing right now? Laze around as if I don’t have anything else important to do, that is revising. Slept at 12 last night, woke up at 8 in the morning. I can’t sleep any longer as it has been the daily routine, same thing happens if I were at my own sweet home. Used to laze in front of the tv set and watch some shows (cos it’s the weekend man!) Well, weekends happened to be so bored here. Can’t watch tv (I wonder why the landlady doesn’t let us to watch the tv, as if we’re gonna sit there for the whole day, zzz), can’t cook (at least some American breakfast or some toasts), basically nothing I can do except staying in my room! (Why not walking around in Section 14?) Nah, I’m too lazy to do that all alone, what’s there to see? Some strangers’ weird looking faces? I rather stay inside, play some games. Kor said we’re gonna be watching movie today. *lolz* Am I supposed to be studying? Well, I think that’s a bonus for me, since I’ve been rotting with pen and papers for the whole week already. Yesterday was fun. Chatted with Chee Chee and the 2 of us went crazy. We were sending lotsa songs and viewing each other on webcams since the connection was so bloody smooth! Haha. She’s a lovely friend to be with and we share lotsa things in common, especially the attitude ~lol~ I’m just hoping that she’ll move in and stay with me, then we can kill boredom and loneliness together =D Anyway, 1030 now. Hmm.. Been lazy to blog. Actually, Friday the 13th wasn’t a really bad at all, well despite the punctured tyre. It was an unplanned trip back to hometown on that day since Kor had his trip to JB/Singapore being cancelled and I had nothing else better to do. ~hehe~ Well, I was indeed very happy to receive Kor’s call when he told me to pack up my stuffs and we’re gonna be heading back to BM that night. It was rather late tho, but we managed to get home at around 130am (I think) and the journey took about 4 hours (I think, again). The only person that acknowledged about it was my 2nd sister, well it’s always been her. =)

Anyway, I slept downstairs cos my room was occupied by my younger sis and there’s a table inside that took all of the space to pull out the mattress. I didn’t sleep immediately tho, turned on the tv set and watched some chinese drama series. Haven’t been a couch potato months ago, miss those times when I used to be watching these series with my mom. (I shall do that again during the long holidays!) ~hehe~

Well, exams next week! I’m dreaming of question marks now, haha. Been studying like mad and I hope that will bear some fresh and sweet fruits, like mangoes. Never ever think of taking supplementary papers (if only you fail the main papers) cos that will spoil the holiday mood and pay extra for it. Sigh. What a money-oriented scheme. Went to uni today for some discussions on phonetics together with our lecturer, too bad only 10 people came and I felt that 1 hour was only like 15 minutes. I asked lotsa questions but I hope that really help for my better understanding and do well in exam!

Exam Exam Exam! Honestly, I hate Pengajian Malaysia (Malaysian Studies) cos I’d learn it during Form 6 and it was fun during those time when I had the best teachers in school and in tuition center. But, why do we have to repeat it in a degree programme? We should have been exempted from it and save money, time and energy, oh yah and the space in my brains too.

Another one will be Mass Comm (no offense to Mass Comm’s students alrite). I had a not-quite-good-command-of-English kind of lecturer and since it’s a big hall with 3 different course in it, we tend to idle away into another space like the dreamland, playland, and talkland. lolz *scratch head* I wonder how am I gonna answer those questions for these 2 subs in exam next week. *shrugs*

Anyway, I’m having this sorta pain at the middle of my spine. Can’t afford to stand nor sit too long, else it’ll hurt and it’s better to rest on the bed. Bad thing is that a rest will lead to a sleep, which is very true, rite? lolz But, but, but, doing revision is supposedly be on the table and I need my computer so badly to find the information from the vast cyber space. Sigh. Maybe I should start my old routine of drinking dairy products? But, that will lead to “fatness” lolz. *shrugs*(again)

It’s 11 plus now. Beauty sleep is needed for now. heeee Chiaoz

Hmm.. Some might say that 13 is a lucky number. But for me, 13 is unlucky! Lotsa house numbers, lift number, hotel levels and etc., they don’t have the number 13, they use 12A instead. Once, my mom told me that something bad will happen on every Friday that falls on the 13th in certain months (as in, if you believe in it, I think it’s the Western culture or whatever).

The May 13 Incident is a term for the Chinese-Malay race riots in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on May 13, 1969. The riots continued for a substantial period of time, and the government declared a state of national emergency, suspending Parliament until 1971. Officially, 196 people were killed as a result of the riots between May 13 and July 31. Supposedly, May 13 on that year is a Friday.

Well, the unlucky thing that happened today was Ching Han’s had a tyre punctured on our way to school! Noticed by one of the motorcyclist and CH needed to drop me by the side of the road and I had to walk to school (which ain’t a problem as I used to walk). But a puncture tyre on the 13th May 2007! Phooooo! That’s really awful =/ Better avoid going out on this unfortunate day, bad things will happen all of a sudden and you wouldn’t realize it. That’s what I always assume. ~hehe~

Anyway, today is the last day of the semester. Study week is up and all we have to do is S.T.U.D.Y.! I didn’t get to go back this weekend since Kor is busy but doesn’t matter much cos 3 weeks holidays is coming up after the exam finish. So, why worry? Haha.

Let’s start the study right now. I need that good grades to secure my position in the UNI! (sounded like a desperado, but that’s a fact! lol) Chiaoz for now!

Hmm, had dinner with Kor at Uncle Chin’s in 1utama as Kor have to collect him glasses from Focus Point which is only next door. (poor Kor, have to wear glasses, eyes are worn out! no more computers! lol) Food was ok and I told Kor that I wanted to buy some bread from Breadstory (reminds me of Maplestory! lol) as they have 30% off the price starting from 8pm if not mistaken. Then there’s where I saw something that caught my attention.

Let me ask you a question. Are you into Spiderman or Hello Kitty (as in MiaoMiao?) Well, I am, a big fan of Spiderman. I even have Spiderman I & II’s posters in my room back in hometown. Spiderman III will be out in early May this year and I so anxious about it. Spiderman is turning into Venom! It’s gonna be real cool. Hello Kitty is just something extra, I’m not a great big fan of it but it’s cute tho. ~hehe~

Woooo Hoooo! Was at Sunway Pyramid yesterday with buncha coursemates (Mei Sim, Viv, Kah Joon, Fui Mee, Jiao Chee, Irene and Ivan) for the 988 Musical Party. Kah Joon and Michelle be our drivers as we are handicapped! *lol* Reached there at about 1pm and we had pizza at Pizza Hut. We didn’t have much time for skating or having fun at the lagoon, so we walked around in the hotels, did some window shoppings, and the most fun of all —– CAM WHORING —– *lmao* Some of us never did come to Sunway before and that is why we did such thing, but we’re not the only ones. There’s alot of camwhores all around Sunway! Haha. Well, we had lotsa fun with camwhoring too

It was really fun there. We were actually thinking of putting a night there but the room rates were extremely raised to an unbelievable charge! The standard deluxe room costs like freaking 1k+! The receptionist told us that, this is due to the F1 event and they raised the rates up to a special degree, which made me almost fainted. All of us were actually got interested to play at the theme park which is everybody’s 1st time. ~hehe~ We wouldn’t hesitate but the rates are killing us, even the prices for the theme park raised due to peak season! Sigh. Maybe this will be postponed to next semester which we will pick the non-peak season! *lol*

After awhile, we decided to get to the “queuing section” as we saw a number of people already started to queue up. It was an unorganized queuing system and when there was more people, we could hardly take a breath. Luckily my blocked nose already recovered, else I’m gonna faint I think. ~haha~ Those guards at the gateway released those people in batches and everybody from the back will push to the front, left will push to the right and right will push to the left. And guess what? We were in the middle, imagine we were like “sandwiches”! HAHA! We were arm in arm so we could stick together. Beside us were some gentlemen and some hot chicks whom treated us good. A girl made a paper fan out of the poster and fan us all and the guys were giving some space for us to stand in a better position. Me and Irene were like falling down each time they pushed. It could have been stampede there! Ooooooh scary!

Finally, it’s our turn to get pass through the gateway and rush to the surf beach. We were given the balloon thingy and a pair of paper hand to cheer with it. This reminds me of something else and it’s the same situation. But never mind, not thinking of it anymore. We stood 5 feet away from the water! ~whew~ But, we were prepared with beach sandals and shorts before we came here! *lol* The crowd was big and I think it’s around 10k+ people or more than that? Those who came in later needed to stand in the water! Poor them! Their legs must have been soaked in the water for hours and it’s gonna be like a balloon! ~hahaha~

To be frank, I couldn’t remember the names of the singers cos I’m not a Chinese Singers enthusiast and not even a Chinese Language literate. But, I knew Ah Niu (all time favourite), Lee Sheng Jie (my favourite), the guy named Arnold whom acted in Trio, and Gary Chao Ge. Some are as handsome! Some are as cute! The rest, no comments. ~hehe~ I really enjoyed the concert even it’s a hard work when you gotta stand for hours (my legs were swollen tho). But it’s all worth when I saw Li Sheng Jie! I screamed all my might, I went high and crazy! Ask my friends, I went “woooo!!” “waaaa!!!” “yeaaaa!!”

Each artists performed 2 songs and there were 9 of them (told you I can’t remember, else go to 988.com.my for the details). It’s the normal thing when we need to shout “Encore! Encore!” for more performances from those singers. And, the worst thing was, you don’t pronounce the word “encore” like it’s spelled, but it’s more like “on_core” cos it’s a French word. It’s normal right? We’re typical Malaysians! No offense ey

Well, as there was a big crowd and a big pool, you can actually get the smell of the water and various kinds body odours. Some even fainted cos stood too long, some just fell off cos their legs couldn’t stand any longer. And Irene was quite sensitive and sadly, she puked with an empty tummy. Poor little girl. Ivan had to accompany her to the ladies to wash up and to get some food but again she puked the second time but I think she’s feeling better already. Worst thing was, when Ivan went off, Lee Sheng Jie came out to do his performance! I didn’t have the chance to capture him, even for a photo. Sigh. I desperately need a camera! *lol*

Anyway, only a word is enough to describe this whole thang : F. U. N. Now, I’m tired of typing already! I’m gonna add photos after compiling them all together. I need my bed! ZzzZzz! ~hehe~ Chiaoz

It’s Thursday and it’s the last presentation we will be having later. No more assignments. No more presentation. But, we’re gonna have the finals in 3 weeks. And the worst is that the last paper which is the Peng. Msia will be on 7th May (Monday). I’ve checked in the calendar that 7th of May is the first day for the sem break, so I asked my sis to book a flight ticket on 5th May (Saturday) at 11am. Sigh. Luckily that was the free ticket that I had to pay for airport tax and GoInsure (46bux).

Sigh. I’m being homesick again. Can’t stop getting my tears from dropping. But crying out really helps tho, to release the stress within.
