It was Father’s Day on Sunday. Some people might not care what that day is all about. But some might just celebrate it like a birthday. My dad received 3 presents from us, a Crocs sandal, a Logitech mouse and a cigarette container. Well, we celebrate Father’s Day (as well as Mother’s Day) every year. It’s not like a big celebration, but just a day for all of us to gather around and have some fun. That’s the reason why I went back home last weekend, apart from being homesick, as usual. We had a night stay at Leisure Cove (an apartment that works like a hotel), Batu Feringghi.

The most happiest person wasn’t my dad, but my little cute nephew, Ryan. He anticipated for this day for a long long time ago, as we kept on telling him how fun it could be to swim in the pool, make sand castles by the beach and visit the Butterfly Farm. We were so happy to see him enjoyed the outing so much. He had so much fun splashing water to us in the pool. He’s terrified with butterflies whenever he sees any of it flying around the garden at home, but after the visit, he can even catch those beautiful creatures! It’s a good thing that we helped him to break that barrier. After that, we took the long way from Teluk Bahang to go Ayer Itam for its famous laksa. We stopped half way at Balik Pulau to eat some durians. Yum.

Well, there were a lot of happy moments which I can’t put them into words. Inexpressible feelings. Oh, I think I had missed something out. We made dumplings on Saturday. Both my parents are superb in this, the rest of us were absorbing the skills from them. It turned out to be extremely good, but there’s a few of them dropped because of the noobies who didn’t tie the dumplings tightly. But those are good experience, happy moments too. =)

Sigh. I’m back here and it’s so damn boring. And I missed my home so much, although I just got back here from Penang. Such an emo girl. Anyway, that’s about it. I gotta get ready for school. Love my family more than ever. Chiaoz
