Durian Feast

I think I had too much durian that I’m starting to fall sick. But I don’t care much either cos it’s holiday now and I should be enjoying life here. One of them is the durian’s brand, namely the D14, which is the champion durian of 2007. Seriously, it’s good though I’ve never tried each and every types of durians. Dad said there’s a new “breed” named 11 and I’ve tasted this, it’s better than D14, at least that’s what I think. But then again, I still wonder how they rate the durians. *giggles* I’ve got some pictures of durians here.

D14 is not a brand. It’s rather a code name given to different breed or category of durians.

Oh, it’s a code. I still prefer D2, even there’s whole lot more of new breeds.

    Greetings,

Can you describe the taste of the D14? I’ve tasted an “identified” one which has the following characteristics: nutty, slightly bubble gum taste, with a hint of bitterness and with a very very faint sourness and perfectly sweet with a buttery non-fibrous texture….

It’s sorta taste like creamy with thick flesh. A little bitter sweet. :)
