Happy 51st Merdeka Day

Happy Merdeka to the people in the Peninsula. Now ask yourself “How long have I been not singing the National Anthem?” Truthfully, I haven’t been listening to it since Form 6 and that was almost 3 years now. What a shame. Maybe university should have Monday assemblies to cultivate the love for the country by singing the anthem. Shrugs.

Negaraku, tanah tumpahnya darahku
Rakyat hidup bersatu dan maju
Rahmat bah’gia tuhan kurniakan
Raja kita selamat bertakhta
Rahmat bah’gia tuhan kurniakan
Raja kita selamat bertakhta

Bye Bye Y2S2

Y2S2 ended just like that. Did we learn much? Ask yourselves, guys. Haha. Ok lah, we did learn something from Language Teaching, History of EL and a little from Language Learning (though it clashes a lot with Psycholinguistics) and the other two just sucked a bit. Coursework marks sucked a lot too. Sigh. Gotta try real hard now to pull up the CGPA to get into First Class Honours.

We had lotsa fun at Shan’s place last night after class. It was only Thursday and it’s the end of our sem (we supposed to have tutorial/lecture classes today!). Forget about the details. Haha. A pizza-pictionary-grabscrabble-residentevil party we had last night. It was fun. I only played pictionary, I was the “judge” and I can see how they struggled to draw for others to guess! Haha. They played grab scrabble after getting bored with pictionary. I didn’t want to play but I watched Resident Evil-Extinction instead. Tak takut pun. Zombies saja. Looking forward to RE4 now!

The usual mamak session with a few fellas (Ian, Sue Sin, Saiful and Cheryl) after that. Milo Ais filled up my tummy but then it wasn’t clean enough. Bad luck. Lol. I guessed that mamak stall gained quite lotsa profit, they have a projector to screen Astro. Not bad. And thanks to Saiful for the treat. Puasa soon and he’s leaving to UK on 9/11.

Nuf said lah. Those of you balik kampung, I wish you guys have a safe trip home and study smart! =))

Die all snatch thieves!

Babi betul snatch thieves ni. Memang desperate sangat nak duit. There’s nothing much to say about them. We just have to be extra careful on the road, no matter where we are, either at night or being alone. Girls always be the victims and it’s a fact that girls are easier to be targetted. Sigh. Luckily it’s already end of semester, we don’t have to park in 17 if we’re coming late to school. We just gotta be prepared for next sem. Hope all well is well. Finals in less than 2 weeks! OMG! But I like to think about things we’re gonna do together after the exams! Haha. Having fun is always better than exams! Lol. Oooooh, gotta be determined not to be addicted to Hunting Unlimited! Haha. Anyway, it’s 1230 soon and I’m off.

Looking Back

For some unknown reasons (instincts maybe), I wanted to look at the birthday card my friends gave me. It’s not just any ordinary birthday card but it’s a special one, lotsa efforts you’d see in it. Thanks guys (and gals – trying to avoid being sexist, lol) for the card. I’d really appreciate it, down to the bottom of my heart. I’m touched too, in fact. (Aww…)

Look! Here’s my card!

Lately, I’ve been thinking so much about friends. Somehow I think the friendship in Uni is a little different, I guess we’re all matured now and see things in various perspective. No more childish. Eh, wait, I think we’re still acting childishly at times when it is necessary, lol. Anyway, I’m gonna get back to my “intrinsic-integrative motivation.”

Fun Day-Nightouts

Finally, socio’s assignment is now out of our hands, and some of the coursemates are happy enough to celebrate the joy of finishing all the assignments. But, my group and I still have one last re-presentation on Tuesday. Thanks to you.

It’s more like a celebration when we went to Section 14 for KFC and Digital Mall after class and remember the part where we pushed the turqoise Kancil. Haha. Babi, double parked and gave the number that cannot be reached! Otak letak kat mana? Punggung ah? Serve you right, Fishy.

Got stranded at Section 14 until 7pm because of the rain. And I decided not to drive back in the heavy rain and traffic was real bad. We thought the rain is going to stop but it became heavier instead. Tony ran to get his car while we’re waiting at the cafe, and funniest part was when he reached, he didn’t unlock the door lock! Leaving us for a good few seconds longer in the rain. Sue Sin was almost gonna rip off the door! Lol.

Still didn’t want to go back to our respective homes, we decided to hang around at Michelle’s place. Spongebob was the first to be seen on the TV and then they switched to Evil Dead. We, actually the ones who watched the show were Sharwin and Sue Sin (they watched this before), Yvon and I (two scaredy cats here), Shan and Michelle. Yvon was hiding behind me and I hid myself behind Tony. I even covered my eyes with my right palm too. Hahaha. So funny.

Show ended and we went to this new makan place at Paramount. Food were expensive and Watan Hor is yucky which costs RM6! Damn, too expensive for a dinner-cum-supper. I only had Wan Tan Soup and too much pepper in it! Omg, I hate pepper! Eeeeeeee. But I paid 4 bucks and I ought to finish it. Lol.

Hmm, somehow I felt that today’s hangout session was really fun fun fun fun. Just got back not long ago and I’m hungry now! Lol. I think I shall just proceed to sleep. :P

Damned

I finally realized that people do change from time to time and not everybody may adapt to the changes even though they are in the social circle.Time plays a role to make two or more people in the group to be closer and happened to be sharing the common interest. The longer one knows the other, the better understanding the both will have. But at the same time, distinction between the both of them will be a clear margin (due to many factors).

Damn, I don’t really know what’s there to blog about. Being so tensed with so many problems and yet it’s hard to say it all out. I’ve got no idea what to do anymore but to stay depressed and faking a smile in front of you. The innocence you have in your face just don’t seem to attract me to forgive and forget.

Two times. Two times. Two times you’ve got your asses safe while having others to suffer. Not a single sorry is said. “Sorry seems to be the hardest word?” Come on, be an adult before you want others to see you as one.

“Everything is part and parcel of life. It’s the learning process.” This quote is rather popular but I have to admit that I have no doubt about it. What if two people went through the same process and one managed to accept things better while the other stays the same? Will that affect the friendship? Or shall I just say “coursemate-ship?”

Whatever it is, life still goes on. Exams in 3 weeks? Two weeks lah. Better start kicking those notes soon.

Mei Sim and Sue Sin, I know this will be the toughest stage so far since the start of the course. But we’ll make it through ok? We’ll work everything out and do our best in exams as well as in the coming semesters. Cheer up! (Although I know how are we feeling right now.) Next week I bring more keropok ok? (=

Snacks#2

<

Think back of the olden days. Childhood days. Missing those days now? Keep them as sweet memories despite the struggle you’d gone through. =)

BarList!

It sounds like Ban List in Battle.Net! Haha. Anyway, the pictures will do the honour.

See the people there? Michael (office staff in black) was half-way putting up those lists and yet the people there acting like as if there’s free gold. Either they’re looking at their own names or they’re just being “busy-body” for looking at the ones who got barred from exam.

Some who saw their names featured up there got panicked and didn’t know what to do. Some who saw their names there and took things lightly as if it’s a norm to get barred, perhaps s/he’s well experienced.

Bar list will be out on Week 11 of every semester. People who eligible to be in this honorary list are those who skipped both lecture and tutorial classes for at least 7 times. Our class has one lucky candidate though she’s not from our batch. And some other missed the chance for their names to be seen by many though. What a waste?

Now. Play truant in a smart way wouldn’t get anybody in trouble. Use your brains, man.
