Saturday Night Breeze

It was a nice Saturday evening ~ One of my relatives wanted to have dinner in this restaurant called Nyonya Breeze in Tanjung Bungah (beside Naza Hotel). It’s a house with a very old-style setting they have there : old-brown ceiling fan, old-green floor tiles and some antiques as well as some old pictures of Nyonya (I wonder where’s Baba) :P

Upon arriving to that restaurant, I carried Ryan, my adorable nephew down to the beach with his mom and my dad. Taught some new words to Ryan : the sea and wave. Well, I personally love to be at the beach alot, I feel really peaceful to hear the sound of the waves and the breeze was really cooling. I wonder if I can stroll along the beachside everyday when I feel like it. Maybe I should get a house nearby the beach :P (not where it’s tsunami prone =/) Haha :D

Anyway the food was OK : Deep fried Popiah, Fried Chicken, Fried Sambal Kacang Botol, Chicken Curry and Vegetables. Actually these are just normal dishes (used to these dishes already, you can even get them in some economy rice stalls). I didn’t get to eat alot but I’m quite full by eating the rice only though. Hehe :)

Hmm, nothing else to type already, so Chiaoz ;)

Penang Laksa

Woo ~ Stopped blogging for 2 days ~ Down with migraine tho =/ But I’m relieved now cos it finally gone! There’s still some slight pain (it’s nothing compared to the severe ones).

Guess what? As I’m a Penangite ever since I’m borned, I have never touch Laksa - Penang ones or Asam or Malay- (unless my mom cooks it) all my life!! How shameful is it to be a Penangite?!?! I would rather choose others but NOT laksa! Never like Laksa (don’t ask me for reasons cos I don’t even know any of them!!:P) Hahahaha ~ Siao wan ~ Today is the most special day in my entire life! I just finished a bowl of Penang Laksa! OMG! It’s so tasty! I’m like “can I have another bowl?” but I didn’t cos I’m fulled up. Hahaha ~

I had also never tasted another Penang famous food which is the Prawn Mee better known as Hokkien Mee!! Somehow I just told my mom that I really need to eat this Hokkien Mee (less chilli paste or NONE of cos! I don’t like spicy food) and I had tasted it some months ago. OMG! (again) It’s good! Crazy ~ :D

Hmm.. That’s all ~ Lazy to type ~ Chiaoz ;)
