Me: Want want, where ah? When you all going?
Su Teng: PB block. Thursday we go. You want join?
Me: Ok. But this is the first time wor.
Su Teng/Debbie: We also lah.
Me: Ok then we go donate.

Last night conversation.

Debbie: Hey, in case you don’t know we’re supposed to drink a lot of water and not eat fatty food before donating blood.
Me: Eh, yes ah? I haven’t been drinking enough.
Debbie: Yeah, you’ll have lesser tendency in dizziness if there’s more fluid in your body.
Me: Ohh I see.
Debbie: And try not to drink coffee.
Me: Why ah?
Debbie: Cos it drains out fluid.
Me: Thanks a lot for the facts leh.
Debbie: Np.

Today’s conversation (after Language Teaching’s lecture).

Su Teng: Let’s go donate blood.
Me: Now? (I didn’t expect to do that now but it’s fine for me though.)
Debbie: Yaya, let’s go. Wait go pee first, bit kan cheong.
Su Teng: Haha. Go la.
Me: Woo hoo. Let’s go!

You know, we, consist of myself, Michelle, Amy Chin, Ah Chee, Ian, Kah Joon, Sue Sin, Carmen, Shan and her friends, went to a lake park in Taman Jaya to celebrate the Lantern Festival.

So what’s Lantern Festival? It’s also known as Mooncake Festival, or rather more formal; Mid Autumn Festival. I’ve just glanced through some websites about this occasion and I found there’s so many variations of story! No wonder there’s so many people telling all sorts of stories. Oh boy, which is the exact one? We even discussed it last night and Carmen came up with the story that I knew too. It was about a message which had been put into the mooncake to deliver to some prisoner? Errh, I don’t really remember it though. Haha. Well, internet helps in this case

Anyway, we found a good spot to sit and also to hang the candles on the closest trees. And you know what? There were so many groups of people there, sitting in their respective groups with their own lantern-decorating creativity. Yea, mostly chi-eds! Haha, I’m not discriminating but it’s a traditional thing, and no, it’s not religious. So what I meant was that mostly Chinese will celebrate this festival. The small ones will just get the lanterns and candles from their parents and start to play them like nobody’s business. Haha.

The best thing was; we had lotsa fun lighting the candles, hanging the lanterns, and chit-chatting. And Carmen brought some mooncakes, two actually, one of it was home-made. Taste good. Sue Sin and Amy Chin went back early, I think they were bore to death! Haha. I guess they’re tired and needed to rest. And so, the rest of us sat there until 12am. If I don’t have to be home before 1am, I think we’ll stayed up even later.

Anyway, needless to say that I actually won the contest. I ain’t telling no lies, I’ve got proof (scroll down to see those photos).

Prize is a carton of this energy drink, which sent to my house in hometown though. Reason why I asked them to send it to BM is due to some complaints like “i still havent get my prize!! super more than 1 month adi” from toruhikaru (012-456++++), “until now not get the prize” from terichteh and many more, can actually read them from the website itself. I’m afraid for not getting them if I gave them my PJ house address, because the fact that I’m going back for holidays after exams.

Well, I’ve gotten the drinks! Woo hoo! I requested Kor to taste it and he said it tastes somewhat like Red Bull. Let me paste the chat box. Forgive me, but I’m super excited. Maybe this could be a kickstart to boost my mood up to study for exams! Haha.

Oh, goodie. Energy drink for energetic person like me. Haha. So uhh, yah, before I forgot, I must thank my friend, Chris (toruhikaru) for asking me to join this contest once upon a time ago. I was ignoring the contest as I was rather busy at that point of time. Chris did bug me to join and I finally gave in and took a few minutes for it. POOFs! I won and got the prize! But, poor Chris, he hasn’t got his yet. Pity. I guess it consumes time, just wait patiently for it to come. You don’t lose anything if it doesn’t arrive at your doorstep.

Well well well… The birthday song had been sung the moment I stepped in the classroom for Semantics class this morning. I was shocked and touched at the same time. Fellow coursemates are so sweet. Love you guys! They sang the song continuously for the second time when Mr. Sue hopped into the classroom (that’s when I sat down on my chair). Our lecturer, Mr. Selva joined the fun of singing with the rest of our coursemates too. We felt special. Haha.

The funniest thing happened to me was that I’ve been a dreamy during the lecture. I was nowhere at times. Can hardly concentrate because there’s too much to think in the little brain of mine. A little stress is running in my veins too though. Mr. Selva asked me some questions and I was lost to answer him and just told him I was too excited cause it’s my birthday. What a lame excuse that is! *lol*

Anyway, after class, Kah Joon gave me a present, a pink shirt! *heee* I’m so into pink nowadays! *lols* Well, it’s a gift from them all (Michelle, Kah Joon, Jiau Chee, Amy Chin, Ching Han, Yvon, Shan, Anthony and little Viv). You guys are too nice. Thanks alot =)

They really made me happy, I was even happier after Semantics tutorial class. Lecture’s boring I think. Plus I was dreaming. I had mood swing. Weird, ain’t it? I’ve been acting like a weirdo nowadays, that’s what I’ve noticed. Well, ignore me. Haha. But then again, I’m back to happy mode now. I’m going nuts. Haha.

Let’s create a happy blog. Hehe. Happy birthday to all who born on this special day, 23rd July! Mr. Sue, you’re one of them. Glad to know that someone else is sharing the same day with me, cos I hardly find one. At most, I have friends having their big day before and after 23rd July. lol.

This year, I’m “celebrating” it not with any of my family members, which is why it made me a little sad. Even the closest person to me (in KL) is now working in Jakarta. Sad, ain’t it? Well, I just need to get used to it, no matter what.

Yea, well, I went to Asia Cafe last night with Adree. I wanted to play some foosball, just for the fun of it. Adree is being kind enough to bring me there. I’m honored =) I played for awhile and just before I left AC, Jon sang me a birthday song while I was still foosing. It was Dree’s idea though, cos I was playing with him and didn’t know the time. I was touched, mixed feelings at the same time too. But, I’m happy.

I’m officially 21 years of age today. I do not have a single idea to tell whether I’m happy or even sad on this big day. I’m in a bit of confusion. I can’t think in a proper way, I just can’t. Been trying to put away the sadness in me, but still things are still lingering in my head. Facts are things I should accept, I know that. Well, talking about it is way easier than doing it. That’s why I’m puzzled over things.
