HK

As I’m writing this, I’m 30k above the sea level, on my way to Hong Kong. Excited, indeed I am.

One obvious thing in the lavatory, there is a sign saying no smoking, but there is an astray below it. Funny, right?

Then I saw another phrase that says ‘No Stowage.’ It’s a new word to me and hilariously I thought they mispelt it, as in ‘storage.’ Silly me! Stowage has its meaning – compartment in a ship, in this case a flying one.

Well, HK Disneyland was fun. That’s all I can say. You have to experience it yourself at least once before you die. Seriously! And and HK is a haven of shopping. I wish there were lots of factory outlets here.

Distance. Distant.

Distance. Distant.

Sometimes it’s just plain difficult for a couple to be in love and be separated due to some circumstances. It needs a lot of trust and a lot a lot of patience.

Been asked today on how we got into the relationship. Honestly I needed some time to recall. Haha. I’m not forgetful, no one asked after so long, so that’s why.

It’s nice to bring back those memories. To some it may sound funny, to me, it’s one of the sweetest moments. :)

Lucky or what?

Being a kid of the millenium era would made one to be extra smart or extra dependent on sources that can make one smart.

Being the ones who receive education could be less fortunate if the ones who teach aren’t accelerating at the rightful speed. What’s to become to our kids if one day the standard of education rises to its peak? If ever the educators take anything for granted, the ones who suffer are the kids. Not considering which background they are from.

Not to mention the quality of the educators.

Not to mention the honesty.

It’s an eyesore, it’s a heartache.

Really, it’s that bad.

But then again, ignorance is bliss.

Walt Disney

Something funny happened during lesson today.

Scene: In the middle of a dictation.

Teacher was dictating “… a popular cartoon by Walt Disney.”

Teacher: Now who can tell me about Walt Disney.

Pupil 1: Walt Disney is a brand of clothes.

Pupil 2: It’s a cartoon.

Pupil 3: It’s a company that show cartoons on tv. [not a bad answer]

Pupil 4: Walt Disney is a name of a channel on Astro. [haha]

Teacher: All wrong!! Walt Disney is a name of a person!!

Pupils: Ooohhhh! I know.

Lol.

Sick

Having a tough time doing this! The solutions are there, so obvious! Why can’t they see them? This is really a heart-breaking scene. Super sigh. Maybe we should just give them those solutions instead. Zzzzzz

Responsibility

How much do we have to do to ensure they can be high flyers if there isn’t enough effort from themselves? Do we only facilitate them to find solutions or do we have to show them the way out?Does the monthly contribution force them to think that they should transfer the responsibility to others? Is their mind filled with tonnes with confidence that they do not believe in multiple-checking before submission? How difficult would it be to answer a simple question? How much time does it take to make sure answers are all correct?

Why is this happening?

inConsistency

Sometimes it’s also about consistency. As a teacher, we should treat all pupils the same and not change that treatment from time to time. Why? Humans are like this, they tend to take advantage of what benefits them the most. So, if I’m rewarding the class with stars and stickers on a daily basis, or if I’m a strict and firm teacher, then I should keep that culture throughout the year. It’s part of being fair. Tha’ts being the doer. It’s the same for the other party. I wouldn’t want my teacher to be kind and caring today but a nasty devil the day after.

Get it, get it? Consistent.

Honey-thoughts

Like the saying goes, take the impossibilities positively. There’s nothing to lose if we see things in the positive way, right? Instead of being down about it, there are other better ways to solve a problem.

For example, two people quarelled over something. One at fault, the other was the victim. Now, of course the one at fault should never make things worse by acting negatively but to find out the roots of all causes. After finding them out, the offender should start to spread lots honey-thoughts onto the particular piece of bread. And not being sappy about it. That’s how one should handle it.

Mechanical thoughts

Certain things do evolve. No doubt, that’s very true. But then again, i believe they don’t evolve in the same way. They never will even though the subjects are of the same kind. The nature of a thing will never ever be the same unless they are mechanical. Humans are not mechanical. I am not mechanical. You are not mechanical too. Why make things becomes so mechanical as how you expect it to be?

Enough or not?

It’s becoming worse, I felt it. If that’s how you want it to be, by all means I’ll give you the blessings. Too much of tolerance will soon make me go kookoo. Is there too much to ask for? Is there too little ’til it becomes so insignificant? I do hope you’d change, please. Sigh.
